Tenkaichi Budoukai (World Martial Arts Tournament)
The Tenkaichi Budoukai is a tournament held once every three years except it was missed between the 23 & 24 when the Cell games took place. The greatest fighters from around the world get together at every tournament to battle it out for the title of world champion.

Word for word Tenkaichi Budoukai means:
Ten - Sky, Heaven
Kai - Beneath, under
Chi - (Number) One
Bu - Martial Arts, fighting technique
Dou - Way of
Kai - Meeting

This all together means roughly:
The best fighters meeting together to battle under the heavens.

Disqualifications occur if:
1. You use any sort of weapon or foreign object
2. Leave during the tournament
3. Unfortunately kill your opponent

You lose if you:
1. Are knocked unconscious
2. Say "I give up"
3. Get knocked out of the ring
4. Go down for a count of 10
