History:

My favorite anime because they are really easy to draw. It was made by Akira Toriyama around 1970. It began from the story about the Monkey king, known as Sun Wu Kong (SOONG WU KOONG). In China this is Goku's name in all the mangas. Akira changed it a lot but kept the tail on Goku in the original Dragonball. Dragonball has become a success in most of Asia and the U.S. It airs on Cartoon Network unless you have come to this website in the future when I can't update this sentence.

Short Summary:

It starts when Goku crashes into Earth on a spaceship. A man named Gohan finds this little boy and decides to raise him as his own. He names this little boy Goku. The Child is very rebellious, but then he gets hit on the head and becomes tame. Goku was trained in forms of Martial Arts and since Gohan sees how good this boy is he enters him in a Martial Arts Tournament (Tenkaichi Boudaki). But Goku's tail catches the moonlight and he transforms into an Oozaru. He then kills Grandfather Gohan, by stepping on him. Goku didn't have a conscience during the Oozaru stage.

Afterwards Goku is alone in the forest and after a year he meets Bulma. Having never seen a girl before he looks up her pants to find a tail, but finds none. She sees that Goku has the four-star Dragonball, and asks him for it. Seeing Goku's strength, she sees the benefit she will have if Goku goes with her on the journey to find the Dragonballs. Later they meet other character such as Oolong, who is a pig that likes soft underwear, and can shapeshift. Then they meet Yamcha who is incredibly nervous around girls and wants to collect the Dragonballs to become a babe-magnet. Later the seven balls are collected by a green dude (his name escapes me). But Oolong gets in the way of his wish and gets very soft panties instead, which Oolong kept and wore on his head. Later the group parts becuase lots of them get their wish. Bulma got a boyfriend, Yamcha got a girlfriend, and Oolong got some soft underwear. But Goku didn't get his wish of being very strong so he goes of to train with the turtle hermit, Master Roshi, who is also known as Kame-Sennin. He meets his new best friend, Krillen, here, and they train together. Then Goku enters another Tenkaichi Boudaki and turns into an Oozaru once again. But Master Roshi (disguised as Jackie Chun) cuts off his tail once more. Later in the Dragonball series he marries Chi-Chi at the age of 17 and has a son named Gohan.

Dragonball Z truly starts as Raditz comes to earth (On Cartoon Network the marrying of him and CHI-CHI started the series). Later he and Piccolo (his enemy) fight Raditz and win as Goku sacrifices himself and Piccolo initiates a huge blast killing both Goku and Raditz. But later he gets wished back to life with the Dragonballs, so the story isn't over yet. Much later androids are made by an evil doctor named Dr. Gero, and they come to take over the earth. They nearly succeed but an even eviler android named Cell comes and absorbs android 18 and 17. Then Cell starts the Cell games, which is a tournament to see who can defeat him. Goku tries hard, but gives up. Then Gohan, Goku's son, kills cell. Goku is killed as well. Later in the series Gohan has a brother named Goten, which can already turn Super Saiyan! Gohan takes the alias Saiyaman, and is a superhero. Then Gohan hears that his father, Goku, has a short living period on Earth. So they enter the next World's Martial Art's Tournament. At this tournament they are told by an elder of some sort that a hideous creature named Majin Buu will be released and they have to save the Earth from this creature. But Babidi, the creature's controller unleashes Majin Buu in the end. Then they have all these fights and they learn how to do fusions, and they get the potarra earrings, and then Goku gets to SSJ3 (as well as other fighters) and then to SSJ4 (and so does Vegeta).

In the end Goku absorbs the Dragonballs and is the strongest man ever to be able to do this.
