How to Draw Anime Faces

The face is one hard part most think. To make this girl gorgeous you need to focus a lot on the face.

Here is a little animated picture to help you. The numbers tell which step it's on.



Pretty helpful huh? You just need to start out with the circle, then make it more of a face. Make the ears slightly pointier than a normal ear. Add some swirly hair and voila... a face. Now the eyes do look formidable huh? Here's another picture to help you.



It's not too hard, just make sure you leave a lot of blank spots, it gives natural emotion. A tip is to not make the lines of the eyes thick except at the eyelashes. This creates better girl eyes. For males you should get rid of eyelashes all together. Here are some more examples of faces. You can trace if needed because this helps you figure out what needs to go where.
